Michael in Larnaca

Local artist Andreas Michael’s upcoming exhibition pays tribute to art’s more classic elements, colour, form, light and composition.

Entitled ‘Reflecting on Nature and Tradition,’ the exhibition opens at Aspelia Gallery in Larnaca on September 3 and will be open until September 27.

Focusing on realism and inspired by the Mediterranean light and rich Cypriot tradition, ‘Reflecting on Nature and Tradition’ is Michael’s sixth solo exhibition.

The artist was born in Liopetri in 1963 and has been painting since he was a child.

A true nature-lover, Michael is known for his sensitive use of colour- depicting light in all its shades. His work is housed in many private collections in Cyprus and abroad.
